General Douglas MacArthur was born January 26, 1880 in Little Rock Barracks, Arkansas. He was the son of a great general, Arthur MacArthur
Douglas Graduated First in his class out of 93 at West Point. Then he wet to the Philippines to work as a aid to his dad. He served in World war 1
then went back to the philippines as a major General And then he became the Army Chief of staff. he was on the Philippines when it was over run
with enemy soldiers and was order to go back to Australia with his family. It was at this time he made a famous statement "I will return" and that line
will be remembered as his trademark Then in 1942 he was made the supreme commander of Allied forces in the southwest Pacific and by 1945
had liberated the Philippines on the way to a planned invasion of Japan. he became the most famous allied commander in U.S History.
